Description: “Lower East Side” is an abstract oil painting that was completed in 2024. This painting is signed, titled and dated on the reverse. The artist’s initials are included on the lower right side of the painting.
This painting was inspired from the Lower East Side area of Manhattan. Whenever I visit NYC I love walking through streets and checking out the various galleries. The Lower East Side has some of my favorite small boutique galleries and I always enjoy checking out the various shows on display within each gallery. The color palette of this painting is fairly subdued but it my opinion gives a good representation of the feel of this area.
The painting was completed in multiple layers of oil paint and some graphite
